Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Buttons

Good Morning to you all!
I am back with our latest challenge for Simon Says Stamp and Show . It is to use buttons :) Who doesn't love buttons !?! I am once again a "collector" of these pretties....I keep them all sorted by colour in separate jars, the funny thing is that I don't use them very often!....but they sure are pretty to look at!
So this challenge was perfect for me to "let go" of some of them :)

I knew I wanted to have a flower on my project to house my pretty buttons. So I began by making a coordinating coloured sheet of acetate with my alcohol inks, all you do is drop down the ink...easy peasy!
Then I cut out flowers with my pretty Plentiful Petal die.
I also cut out the same image in white to back the acetate to show off the pretty colours better.
Next I inked up a #10 Manila tag with my Distress Inks and then gave it a subtle image look with a stencil and spray ink.
Using a tag for this projects automatically finished the back of the card too...lol something I never do!!
The inside gets a little inky from the process, so it got a inking too; and also becomes finished ...I think it will look really pretty with white writing :)
I would love to be inspired to use more of my buttons, so please pop on over to Simon Says Stamp and Show and link up your button projects. By doing so you will have a chance to win a $50 store voucher to use in the Simon Says Stamp Superstore:) :) :)

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Have a fantastic day! Hugs, TRace

Your flower embellishments really pop right off the background. Love how you used similar colours and used the matt and shiny textures to create interest.
