Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Passport to fun

Good Monday Morning!
I am back today with our latest challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show: Passport to Fun. Well...I don't know too many people who don't like to travel :) There are so many places in the world I would love to see, that is why when we travel...which by the way is NOT often enough :( I like to go to different places.....hence I loved this saying!

I feel this board is a little simple...maybe compared to how many layers I usually put on a board LOL!...but I really did not want to cover the old atlas map pages :) I LOVE maps!!!

The thick paper pages were easily apply down with Rangers Glue N Seal.

I LOVE the look of this Studio Calico circle mask...totally looks like the globe!! and I can still see my maps underneath :)

A photo of the steps to achieve the wood board look ...of course the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp is a good place to start LOL!

I had this pack of wood veener embellishments by Studio Calico sitting around for a wee bit...perfect travel accents!! I just applied ink and a little Glossy Accents to the heart :)

Oh I so hope you can join us at Simon Says Stamp and Show! You could be the lucky random winner of a Simon Says Stamp Superstore voucher for $50 dollars!!!
Thanks for stopping by to visit and have a fantastic day! Hugs, TRace

Trace...your board is so cool! I love the idea of using the map as a background! That stencil that you used provides fabulous interest and such cool texture to your map. I love your road sign with the arrows going every which way. Very cute project! <3 Candy

I love that mask too! I never thought about using it with something as obvious as a map!

Bond says. Hey cool board. I too am so impressed how the grid stencil adds to the map. I first thought they were on the original map.
Great board to look at and dream/plan your next adventure. Great job Trace.
