Good morning! I am here today playing along with the Studio L3 challenge Compendium of Curiosities #29...it is a journey through Tim Holtz's most recent book...this is my first time playing along :) I was not sure if I should leave it as a tag, or make it into a card...I needed more Christmas cards, so that option won out :)
I began by choosing one of my many "mop up" tags:
and then applied Tim's technique of Texture Fades, found in A Compendium of Curiosities Vol 2, page 64. I added a bit of white marker and glitter pen, and got this result...a tag that has that Scandinavian Christmas look to it!?!
I definitely loved playing along with this challenge...I purchased both of Tim Holtz's books recently, and I love the push to use one of his techniques each week.....here is hoping for time :)

The mop up tag was a brilliant choice...I love the various color! Gorgeous embossed design!!! The simple snowflake is perfect here! What a fab tag!

( not sure if it would pass as typical Scandinavian as that is very snowy traditional scenes sometimes including our version of Santa)
