Good morning! Today we have a fun challenge for you at Simon Says Stamp and Show...we want to see your favorite. It could be a style, technique, holiday, colour...whatever, you decide! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!
I could not just pick one...so I have a mixed media board with a good few of my favorites in it :)
As you can see it is "wear your sunglasses" bright....I love bright shiny girly...so there is three favorites so far! I also love to use up product...what better way to justify buying new stuff :) So I created a background using the technique outlined below using older letter stickers.
This was the base of the board before I added the letter stickers....words of "LOVE" here and there in all different fonts, their colour does not matter.
I then painted over it all with a paint and ink mixture...
I also love the colour combo of pink and red together, and of course there are hearts...who doesn't love hearts!! So I wanted to have a big, bold, and bright heart for the centerpiece of the board. Here is the heart before the crackle paint is applied.
Here the heart with crackle paint on it...yes another favorite product of mine...I am using it on everything!!!. To finish off the look I added silver accents with my Krylon Silver Leaf pen and Gelly Roll clear star pen...those are my final favorites :) I believe my total number of favorites on this boards adds up to eight lol!

Trace....love this idea of putting on stickers, adding a topcoat of paint and ink and then peeling off the letters. Cool idea. Your piece is very inspiring! <3 Candy

Tracey Love the secret background! It didn't occur to me that was how you achieved such lovely patterns behind the letters! The metal heart is gorgeous too!
Trace, this is fabulous! Love what you did with the letter stickers, the background showing through behind them is just the best. I have to try that technique soon. Wonderful crackle heart too.
