Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Leaf-tastic

Good morning! I am so glad you popped into visit! I have a DT project to show you for the latest challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show: Leaf-tastic I knew right away I had the perfect stamp I wanted to use....love that when the idea just pops in to my head :) I made this tag:

I had the perfect handmade paper to match this Hero Arts Three Ferns stamp, in colours of summer because I am just not ready to accept fall...I will so miss the warm summer temperatures! Here is a picture of my handmade paper using Dylusional inks and salt...such a cool technique.

You can see a full post on the salt and ink how-to HERE.

Here is a close-up to show my favorite product at the moment:) Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint in Rock Candy...so easy to use...just paint it on nice and thick and set aside to dry, and watch it crackle :) Just don't stand over it like "watching the kettle to boil" :) it does take a bit of time!

You will definitely want to join in on this challenge!!! There is a $50 dollar store voucher up for grabs to one random participant :)
I know I was blown away by the rest of the DT projects....you can check them out on the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog :)

Have a great day! Hugs,
TRace

Trace, your tag is so lovely. I really love the background and how you achieved it using Dylusions sprays and sea salt! Just amazing results. I also love your Hero Arts Fern stamp. Perfect for your tag! Love your sentiment on your tag and the butterflies. That introduction of the browns against the bright green and teal tag is amazing! <3 Candy
