Good evening....I have a mixed media board to share :)
The board base started out with a sea salt technique where you sprinkle salt on wet ink, let it dry completely and the salt absorbs some of the ink leaving behind a mottled texture. Here is a photo of the board with the dried salt on it:
Now I have a baggie of really pretty sea salt and not sure what to do with it....any suggestions :)
I am going to enter this in Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Hey Girl
Have a great evening...I will be back tomorrow with another post and some summer fun pics. Hugs, TRace

Lovely mixed media piece!
Wow oh wow! I love your canvas! That background is amazing! Love the colors, the patterns and the sea salt effect! You've inspired me to have a play with that technique! I really like the results! Thanks so much for sharing your work with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
Gorgeous results, Trace! The first thing I thought of to do with that colored salt is to use it in a clear glass vase with some pretty paper flowers with stems......the salt will help hold the stems apart and keep them from all clustering in 1 place.
Love the effect you achieved on your amazing board, Trace - just beautiful! :)
I had the same idea as Lin - the sea salts would look so pretty in a vase with flowers!
This is awesome! I love that salt technique and you totally rocked it. And, what a pretty pile of left overs :) The Simon Says Stamp & Show design team thanks you for participating in this week's challenge. - Ashli

Your sea salt is in the shape of a heart, glue it to something in a heart shape!,
