Sending Smiles

Hello!! Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weekend!! I have a card to share with you today that I made for two challenges.

Both upper and lower backgrounds were embossed then inked with Tim Holtz inks...always makes me happy lol!

Firstly, the new Hero Arts April challenge is to incorporate stamp layers, make a masculine project, or use one of their four sketches. I choose to use a sketch:

I could not wait to try my hand at making one of these 3D flowers....CREATE showcased them in their latest video HERE:
I think I might be addicted...so fun and easy!!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts S5507 Envelope Pattern, CG119 Flourish Background, and CL490 Sending Smiles.
PP: My Minds Eye ( Stella Rose-Gertie)
Ink: Versafine (black onyx) Versamark Tim Holtz Distress inks in colours broken china &old paper.
Buttons and flower: Webster's pages.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, TRace

Ooh, your flower is amazing! You chose the perfect double sided papers to highlight the fun dimension of the flower. And did you sponge the background papers? Wow! Truly fabulous!

Thanks for the link to the video on how to do the flower! I really love what you did with yours. Saw it on Flickr so hopped over here to see the details.

Gorgeous card, Tracey!! Love that you embossed the envelope pattern! I've used mine A LOT, but come to think of it I don't think I've ever embossed it!

Gorgeous, Tracey! The tutorial for that flower embellishment was in this month's issue of CARDS magazine. I think that it would be just as stunning on a layout... Don't you? So going to have to try it. LOVE the way you've embellished it with that resin flower, too! And such BEAUTIFUL color!
