Play Date Cafe Challenge #64 :)

This is my first post as a designer team member for the Play Date Cafe Challenge... YAY!!! YIPEE!!! YAHOO!!! I am so excited and honoured to be part of this talented group of ladies and play along with the weekly colour challenges...I so hope you can join us HERE.


This colour combo screams the cottage beach to me....I LOVE IT!!!!! I am even trying to decorate my house with this theme. Once I finished my card, I just could not bring myself to put away my scraps, they are still lying in a beautiful pile on my desk LOL...for I just LOVE them :)
Here is my card where all paper begun as white, then it was inked and stamped....Oh how I love to make my own pp!!!!


Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts CG139 Dots and CL201 Hugs & Hearts, Impression-Obsession CC039 Lg. Paisley and CC054 Swirls & Stars.
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress inks in colours-pumice stone, broken china, tumbled glass, stormy sky, and old paper. Tim Holtz Crackle paint in picket fence.
Misc: Spellbinders Labels 8 die, Martha Stewart doily, dollar store ribbon, sorry...can't remember where the frame is from...if anyone knows I would love to hear from you :)

TRace, wow! You made all that dp??? I love to do that do, but it never impresses people until they read what I've done to turn an all-white piece into something more. I think you've done a FAB job on that! ANd -- that frame -- is it Artisan Elements by Pink Paislee? I just bought some at the craft store the other day, so it's fresh in my mind.

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. The colours do smack of beach hut, now you come to mention it...I had thought of French farm kitchen!!

Your patterned paper is beautiful, I often like to make my own too although I have hoards of patterned paper as well. Beautiful combination of colors on this one.
