Take 2 in my Jennifer inspired/enabled :)


Good morning! It feels so good to get back into the craft room...playing with colour and paper feels so good!!! lol!
Here is my second card that was inspired by this post HERE by Jennifer McGuire.




I took her advise on buying the Tim Holtz Distress Markers and I LOVE them...I also was enabled by her to try the Hero Arts white embossing powder, and it is now my new favorite...SO white...SO PERFECT!! 



I am going to give this to my sweet hubby for Father's Day :) and also submit this card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge:  Anything Goes.

Jennifer inspired/enabled :)


Hello, back as promised with my Jennifer McGuire inspired/enabled card :) You can see it HERE.
I am sooo loving the Tim Holtz Distress markers!


A close-up to show the shine from spritzing the coloured areas with perfect pearls in water mixture :) I just love how the colours blend together!


I am going to enter this card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes.

I'm back!!!!

Wow!! It sure has been a long time since my last post...our extended vacation was amazing!!! I was able to get some crafting in yesterday and I will have a card to share later tonight that is a Jennifer McGuire inspired. She totally enabled me to buy the Tim Holtz Distress markers...I was holding off until I saw her amazing card HERE :)

Here are a few photos to show why I was missing in action :)


We went to St. Croix to do a Sprint triathlon....actually biked and ran with Lance Armstrong even though he was doing the 1/2 Ironman...part of the route was the same.

After the race :) Thank goodness it was overcast that day! We then embarked on a seven day sailing trip around the British Virgin Islands on a 45 foot mono hull sailboat. I had never been sailing before, so it was quite the adventure to sail everyday.


Autopilot is great!

Waking up to a new view each day was definitely the best part!

So sorry for your loss

Good afternoon! I am finally posting a card...my excuse...the lack of mojo and the new blogger :(...I had to get hubby to help me out with the blogger. I used Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: watercolor butterflies to help me with the mojo to create this card:

I started by creating an inked background with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks...Since I usually take challenges very literally, I planned to cut out butterflies from this inked panel, BUT it was too pretty to be cut up...so I covered it up with flowers instead...oh my lol!

I am also going to enter this into Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything goes.

Just a note

Good morning!!! WOW it sure has been awhile since I have posted! Today I have a bright and bold card to share:)


I have made this card for a couple of challenges :) Impression-Obsession latest biweekly challenge is Flower Power. You can see the pretty Herringbone CR004 image that I used :) I am also going to enter this into Simon Says Stamp and Show...Anything Goes.

hi

Good morning my crafty friends!! I have a card to share today :)


This card is for the current challenge over at the Impression-Obsession blog-Summer fun in the sun and water challenge. I used the IO Cover-A-Card Bubbles CC026 and IO Cover-A-Card Funky CC045.

The background was created by applying various blue and turquoise Copic Markers directly to the stamp and then spritzing with rubbing alcohol, and then QUICKLY stamping the image down before the rubbing alcohol dries...don't blink!

I am also going to enter this card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge-Use Your Favorite Tool. Once again I reached for my dies :)

You're Someone Very Special

Good morning!! I hope you are all enjoying the long Easter weekend! I had some crafty time last night and made a card for a few challenges :)

I rarely use this colour of blue...I tend to go towards turquoise, but I have to admit it feels so fresh and clean...I am really liking it, it was a surprise :)
I am entering this into Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: Sweet Surprise...here is the beautiful inspirational photo:


I am also entering this card into a new challenge blog up and running...A Blog Named Hero. It is their first challenge....Playing Favorites :) This Hero Arts Cling stamp Flower Dot Pattern is definitely one of my faves :)

Lastly, I am going to enter this into Simon Says Stamp Challenge....Use your Favorite Tool. Well I know you are like me and probably can't narrow it down to just one...but I do love my dies probably a wee bit more then any other tool....I would even go as far as to say I am a collector of them :)
