Holiday cards set

Good morning my crafty friends!
Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share:

Over on the Hero Arts blog, the monthly challenge is to create a pocket card, a set, and/or use the following sketches....I choose to use the sketches to make my set :)

I choose to keep using the same product for all three cards in order to make them look like a set...I was pleasantly surprised at how this combined with a sketch really speeds up the creating process=one happy crafter :)
I wanted to use my three favorite non-Christmas backgrounds...I think they work ok!?!
Here they are individually:

merry Christmas

Good afternoon :)
Well I wrote out the names of people I want to send Christmas cards to and realized I need at least another four....so in the next few posts you know what you will be seeing! It is kinda nice only working 1/2 days at work...due to my pneumonia...I am getting in some crafting time while "taking it easy" :)

I just LOVE red and white for Christmas...next year I am going to do a lot more :) I am entering this in the latest Impression Obsession challenge-What you like to drink....At first I had now idea what to do with this!! I don't have any stamps of drinks or glasses. So I thought I like red wine...so I made this background paper to resemble red wine lol, by using C-A-C CCo33 Quilt stamp by IO and THDI Fired Brick.

I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge :)
All the supplies are listed below except for some "older" making memories rub-ons: christmas 4. Have a great day! Hugs, TRace

Back in time with Ellen Hutson and Julia

Hello friends, I am back again :) I think two weeks of no crafting has totally sparked my desire to mass produce lol!! I found another Anniversary challenge at the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom blog. We were to use a previous technique from the CLASSroom blog. I have been meaning to try this one for the longest time...HERE it is by Julia Stainton..

I basically all out copied Julia, except I used the following Copic colours:  G05, YG25, BG15, and B05. It felt so good to get out my neglected Copics :)
I did use rubbing alcohol instead of the Copic Blending Solution. I used the exact same Hero Arts clear set CL549 Butterflies & Wildflowers, but a different HA sentiment:  CL476.
Thanks for stopping by to visit again :)

CAS take 2

I am totally doing a lot of these "take 2's" It just seems to be freeing....does that make sense?!?!? It is just easier with all the supplies already lying around lol!

Once again I chanelled Julie Ebersole's card example of the Ellen Hutson's CLASSroom blog challenge post. Here is the colour swatch to follow:

Have the most wonderful day!! Hugs, TRace

clean and simple with Ellen and Julie

WOW....I have made a CAS card...I never do this!!! Maybe my sickness has sparked a new creative flare??

I totally took my clue for this card from the example on Ellen Hutson's CLASSroom blog by Julie Ebersole. Here is the colour swatch:

JOY

Hello!!! It has been soooo long since I have done a post!! I have an excuse...I had the flu which turned into strep thoat which turned into pneumonia! I have been off work for two weeks, but unable to get off the couch, you know you are sick when you can't craft!!!

Yesterday I finally made a card:

I used this sketch from Ellen Hutson's classroom blog...great site!!

The papers are from Basic Grey's Nordic Holiday collection, if you have any other questions....please send me an email :)
Have a great day! Hugs, TRace
